Machine Discovery

If you have any small appliances or mechanical objects that no longer work, hand them over to the curious child in your home. Give them screwdrivers, a hammer, and pliers. Set your child up on a surface covered with newspaper to catch any mess and all the little pieces they'll find. See if they can put things back together, or if they can make something else from the pieces.
