Foam Heart Purse

Start with two sheets of red or pink craft foam. Lay the pieces against each other and cut out a heart from them the size you'd like your purse to be. About 1/4 inch from the edge, staple, hot glue, super glue, or sew the hearts together. Sew only the sides and bottom of the hearts together so that you can open the top of the purse. If you are using glue, be sure to keep the glue near the edges and away from the center of the hearts; otherwise you won't be able to open far enough to put things into it. For a purse strap you can use yarn or ribbon. It is best to sew or staple the strap on. Stick the end of the ribbon in at the edge of the seam made with glue or thread, and sew or staple the ribbon into place. You can embellish the purse with beads, glitter, or foam cutouts.
