Trash Walk

I don't know about you, but when the snow melted here I noticed a great abundance of trash everywhere that has been hiding under the snow all winter. Why not take your children for a walk and pick up the trash as you go. Be sure you talk to your children about safety if you are walking near roads. Slip some gloves on to everyone's hands and carry either trash or grocery bags and do the world a service. If you want to do a little bit more, you can have each person pick up a specific type of item so that it is easier to recycle what you have picked up. Assign one person each to glass, plastic, paper, and trash.
