Leprechaun Puppets
Turn a brown paper bag upside down. This will be the base of your leprechaun puppet. The fold for flattening the bottom of the bag will be the mouth you can stick your hand into to make hin talk.
You will turn the bag into a leprechaun by drawing him in pieces of paper to be glued to the bag. Draw a leprechaun's head on a plain white piece of paper. On another piece of paper, draw a shirt for the little guy and hands for him. Then take another piece of paper and draw the pants for the leprechaun, and socks and shoes. On another piece of paper draw a hat. Color the leprechaun the appropriate colors.
Now for gluing the leprechaun together. Glue the leprechaun's head onto the bag, with the center of the beard at the edge of the mouth fold. Glue the hands on the end of the sleeves. Glue the shirt on, two cm (1 inch) around each edge so it will hold well. Then glue the shoes to the socks. Also take the socks and glue them to the pants. Then glue the pants right under the shirt. You are done.
Tada!
