April Birthday Theme

April - "Earth Party"

Earth day is in April, so why not throw a earth themed birthday party this month?! Make a round cake for an earth cake, send out earth invitations (I've seen miniature inflatable earths online, you can write the invitation onto the ball, so that the receiver has to inflate the ball to read,) use green as the primary color for the color scheme, have the children bring something recyclable as their ticket to get into the party, for decorations you can get inflatable planets, earth balloons, or potted plants (and don't forget to let the children each take a balloon or plant home with them as a party gift.) For food, think green. Organic fruits and vegetables are great. Don't forget to avoid disposable utensils and tableware. We should be thinking earth friendly here.
