Paper Heart Buddy

For Valentine's fun, you can make a paper heart buddy. Start by cutting a large heart out of red cardstock or other sturdy paper. This will be your buddy's body. Cut 4 much smaller hearts out of the same paper you used for the big heart; these will be the hands and feet. Take a paper punch and punch 4 holes in the large heart where you would like to attach the feet and hands. Next punch holes in each of the small hearts near the point of the heart. Using pieces of yarn, tie each small heart to the large one in their appropriate positions. Now give the large heart a personality. Draw a face. Glue on lips, eyes and a nose cut from contrasting colored paper. You can also glue on googly eyes.
