Paint Sample Greeting Cards
Have you ever gone into the paint department of a store and seen all those little pieces of paper with paint colors on them? Those paint color samples are great for making cards. Trim any print off of the card and it's good to go.
There are lots of fun ways to dress your card up. You can use paper punches to punch out dots or other designs from extra paint samples and glue the dots on your card for fun designs. If you have different-sized sample squares, you can glue a smaller square onto your card to get interesting visual effects. Small photos can make a great impact against the solid colors of a paint sample card. You can also cut extra paint samples into strips and glue them onto your card to form a letter, shape, number, or abstract design. If your child is too young for scissors, you can let them do the gluing.
For holidays, cut out holiday shapes using holiday colors.
